Youre an experienced (2-6 PQE) Leveraged Finance lawyer with a desire to move to the city that never sleeps. They are an elite US law firm looking for Associates to join a world leading leveraged finance practice and work on some of the most cutting-edge financings in the market.

The Team

This Leveraged Finance team is recognised for its ability to deliver creative and sophisticated solutions for borrower-side clients (including private equity firms, portfolio companies, and growth businesses) as well as lender-side clients (private credit funds and alternative lenders). With a global footprint, the team regularly collaborates with colleagues worldwide on multijurisdictional transactions. Known for its supportive but entrepreneurial culture, this team values mentorship, collaboration, and commercial excellence.

The Role

This role will offer the opportunity to work on market-leading financing transactions across a variety of sectors, taking on significant responsibility in managing complex deals and providing innovative solutions to clients. You will collaborate closely with colleagues on high-value global transactions, gaining exposure to multijurisdictional work while developing your expertise. Additionally, youll have the chance to mentor junior associates and actively contribute to business development initiatives, positioning yourself for meaningful career growth within a dynamic and supportive team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in leveraged finance, private equity finance, and/or private credit.
• Strong technical and commercial skills with a creative and motivated mindset
• A team player with a passion for mentoring and collaboration.
• The drive to excel in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
