Greets and assists Library patrons. Uses automated circulation system to check Library materials in/out in accordance with established Library policies and procedures. Collects and records fines and fees, registers patrons, and updates patron records. Shelves and maintains library materials. Assistswith Library programs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.* Assists with various library duties including library programs, overseeing assigned projects, performing circulation duties, and providing customer service to patrons.* Performs collection development and maintenance, shelving materials according to standard processes.* Executes cashier duties and maintains assigned funds according to accounting procedures.
