To be considered for this position, you must meet the minimum qualifications listed below: Master s Degree in librarianship from a library school that is accredited by the American Library Association or recognized by the New York State Education Department as following accepted education practices;
AND
Eight (8) years of satisfactory professional library experience in a library of recognized standing acquired after the issuance of the professional certificate; three years of which must have been in a responsible administrative capacity.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Eligibility for a New York State professional public librarian s certificate.
