Examples of Duties
- Tidying shelves by edging items, straightening items, and pushing book ends in for all shelves in assigned collection.
- Assisting patrons in assigned collection find items or directing to staff members.
- Bringing items on clean up cart to Page Clerk and bring kicksteps back to home location
- Picking up trash, dusting shelves, and ensuring all bookends are in working order
Typical Qualifications
- An ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
- An ability to reach shelves
- Must be able to answer patron's general questions about directions within the library.
- Tactful and courteous communication skills.
- An ability to learn new technology.
- An ability to adapt to change.
