Job description Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Qualifications: Experience Requirements: A minimum of 12 continuous months of experience in a related field within the last three years (excluding internship experience). Licensing and Certification: Must hold the necessary licenses, permits, and certifications for practice. Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in English and able to communicate both orally and in writing. Service Delivery Requirements: Clinical Responsibilities: Conducting mental health evaluations and providing treatment recommendations. Performing suicide risk evaluations and crisis interventions. Offering group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and face-to-face interviews. Managing psychiatric disorders and developing treatment plans. Writing clinical reports and documenting all care provided. Providing education and transitioning inmates to community programs. Additional Tasks: Participation in interdisciplinary treatment team (IDTT) meetings. Documentation and monitoring inmate progress. Assisting inmates in applying for entitlement benefits and facilitating pre-release functions. Ensuring the safety and security of property and people within the facility. Responsibilities such as adhering to confidentiality laws, mandatory reporting requirements, and offering support during transitions for patient-inmates/youths.
