SUMMARY:# Responsible and accountable for providing behavioral health interventions for patients in the palliative care program and the hospice program, including assessments and recommendations for follow-up as appropriate in conjunction with multiple providers. BAXTER HEALTH AND HOSPICE OF THE OZARKS COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Understands and adheres to Baxter Health and Hospice of the Ozarks standards as they appear in Dynamic Health and Healthstream Policy Manager. Required to work with the Palliative Care Provider, fellow social workers and leadership regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for Hospice of the Ozarks. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Master Degree (MSW) in Social Work from an accredited institution. Experience:# Minimum 2 years mental health experience.# Previous experience working in a hospice, palliative care provider, hospital or other healthcare setting preferred.# Must have experience in the continuity of patient care planning.# Crisis intervention skills preferred. Licensure:# Current Arkansas Social Work license (LCSW) in good standing. Other:# Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.# Valid driver#s license and dependable transportation.# Automobile liability coverage of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident for bodily injury.# Ability to see and treat patients with various types of insurance coverage (i.e., Medicaid, Medicare, and all commercial payors).# # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # ## Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
