Overview:
The Licensed Clinician functions as the clinical expert in planning and conducting treatment for clients in the Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Programs (PHP/IOP). Treatment will consist of a combination of individual and group counseling, as well as educational group sessions planned to meet the individual needs of each client. The Licensed Clinician is responsible for developing the curriculum for educational programs that will be included in the treatment program for PHP/IOP clients.
This is a full-time postion; Mon - Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, client/family education, counseling, discharge planning, referral, case management, and follow-up for assigned caseload.
- Develop treatment plans for each assigned client; update plans as needed.
- Complete bio-psycho-social assessments as needed.
- Provide communication and feedback to other team members as part of joint treatment planning, UR, and client management.
- Provide individual1 counseling and groups focused on substance abuse counseling.
- Develops curriculum for and provides education components of program based in areas of specialty, client needs, and community history.
- Acts as spokesperson in relaying UR, insurance, and other administrative information to requesting sources.
- Acts as a facility liaison to client, family, aftercare agencies, institutions or clinicians.
- Completes all documentation required by State and Accrediting Agencies within specified timeframes.
- Understands needs of specific client population.
- Develops a continuing education and supervision plan with immediate supervisor.
- Participates in conferences, meetings, and continuing education programs as appropriate.

This is a full time, 40 hour position.
Qualifications
Independent license required (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LADC, licensed psychologist). Two years mental health counseling experience with substance abuse population preferred.
