Job Title: Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor Duration: Contract-to-hire Location: McDowell Rd. & 39th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009 (on-site) Schedule Expectations: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Salary Expectations/ Pay Rate or Range: $58,240-74,880/year Job Responsibilities As a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor, you will provide a range of services inclusive of primary care behavioral health, crisis management, mental health assessment, counseling services, and coordination of care to patients as part of the integrated health team. Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinates behavioral health care with the primary care medical and behavioral health teams, and promotes ongoing collaboration and cohesiveness between those teams to ensure delivery of whole health care to patients.
- Delivers a range of interventions, which may include: Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and acceptance strategies, psychoeducation, trauma-informed and other therapeutic approaches applied within the primary care behavioral health setting.
Requirements As a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor you must be a great communicator with excellent organizational skills. We are also looking for someone who has the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates must be able to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting. Other requirements of this position include:
- Masters degree in a behavioral health field (i.e., social work, counseling, psychology)
- Arizona Licensed Behavioral Health Professional; current, valid and in good standing.
- 1+ years of Direct Patient Care experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Ability to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card.
