HCO Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, experienced trauma-focused licensed counselor to join our dedicated team. This role involves providing trauma-informed care to individuals, families, and groups experiencing the impacts of trauma. The ideal candidate will be skilled in addressing complex trauma, PTSD, and related mental health conditions while utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities. The position offers the flexibility of remote telehealth services. Key Responsibilities: - Provide individual, group, and family counseling with a focus on trauma and PTSD. - Develop individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and provide case management as needed. - Utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, EMDR, and mindfulness practices. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and ensure comprehensive treatment for clients. - Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any necessary administrative records. - Participate in clinical supervision, training, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in trauma treatment. - Offer support and guidance in crisis intervention situations. - Facilitate a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. - Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and continuing education to enhance clinical knowledge. Qualifications: - Licensure: Active licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PLPC in your state. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with trauma survivors in a clinical setting. - Education: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. - Familiarity with trauma-focused treatment models (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT, CPT) is highly preferred. - Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of trauma-related disorders. - Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care. Preferred Skills: - Certification in trauma-focused interventions (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT, etc.). - Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families.
