Our services are offered a la carte, and can be tailored and combined to fit our clients' needs.Job Description Job Description Mental Health Recovery Specialists (MHRS) is seeking a therapist trained in EMDR to treat clients with trauma. The position entails providing a combination of utilizing EMDR as well as top down behavioral modalities. In addition, this position will entail the ability to work with clients who have commonly co-occurring mental health conditions. An external biweekly EMDR consultation group will be fully covered by MHRS for this position! Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person and virtual psychotherapy, utilizing EMDR when appropriate.
- Complete in-house CBT and DBT training if not pre-trained
- Proper documentation of all services rendered in a timely manner
- Communicate with clients' Care Coordinators and other Recovery Specialists as needed
- Continually assess clients' progress and level of care, update treatment plans, and complete transition/discharge plans when indicated.
- Communicate with clients' external providers or supports as indicated
- Keep availability sheet and caseload tracker up to date as required
- Attend bi-weekly supervision 1:1 with Clinical Director
- Attend biweekly team meeting

- Complete weekly tracking sheet at the end of each week to communicate availability

- Will provide staff info on Psychology Today and website
- Must be available to work in-person from our New York office as needed, and ideally have availability on weeknights and/or weekends.
- Must be available to have at least 50% of work in person if local to NYC.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree required
- EMDR trained required
- Organized, reliable, responsive, and detail-oriented. Enjoys autonomous work.
- A private location when working remotely with stable internet access and ability to come into the office for in-person work if/when needed.
Location(s): New York City Metro Qualifications & Requirements: Masters degree required. Licenses accepted: LCSW, LMHC, LMSW.Licensed in the state of New York is a must. Licensure in NJ, MA, CO, and/or CT is a plus.1-3+ years of experience in the treatment of mental health, and training in modalities such as ERP, CBT, CPT, DBT, EMDR, and somatic therapies preferred. Must have a private location when working remotely from with stable internet access. Years of Experience: 1 year experience Salary & Benefits: This is a fee-for-service position. Rates begin at $55/hr based on experience and licensure level. Hours of Availability Needed Per Week: 15 hours/week
