Responsibilities of the LMSW:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing and crisis intervention
- Offer addiction counseling, behavioral health, and social work services
- Mentor and supervise social work interns
- Work with diverse populations including children, families, and individuals in crisis
- Assist clients with accessing resources such as Medicare, childcare, and Section 8 housing
