Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Growing in Care, PLLC. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to individuals and families. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate therapy sessions to help clients improve their mental health and well-being. This is a hybrid role, located in Rochester, NY, with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a mental health counselor in the state of New York
• Master's degree or higher in Counseling
• Strong knowledge of counseling theories and techniques
• Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Good understanding of ethics and confidentiality in counseling
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Passion for supporting youth and young adults through therapy
