Position: Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Therapist
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Vice President
Position Description: Responsible for providing therapies to individuals, couples, groups, and families to promote ideal mental health and the Holistic Health Wellness Center. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
- Responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders
- Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
- Responsible for referring clients to specialists as necessary
- Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
- Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
- Assist with insurance processes and client account collections
- Change method and degree of therapy when indicated by client reactions and needs
- Conduct trainings as needed virtually or in person
- Assisting clients into the relaxation rooms
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements: - Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LISW
- Graduate from an accredited master's social work or behavioral health education program.
- An advanced level license by a state professional certifying body that is permitted by law to provide care and services without direction or supervision.
- Master's degree required
