Overview:

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to work Full-Time providing counseling and therapy to patients at our Syracuse Crisis Intervention and Prevention Program. The schedule will be three 12-hour shifts with occasional Saturday coverage as needed.

In addition to Helio Healths comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time Licensed Counselors/Therapists are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive up to $4,000 or $8,000 depending upon licensure!

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Clinical lead for the team, with primary responsibility for:

    • conducting risk assessment

    • crisis intervention and de-escalation

    • triage and connection to care

  • Develop relationships across the city to include community members, local businesses and service/support providers
  • Completes necessary documentation and reporting
  • Relate effectively with staff, patients, and professional community while upholding appropriate standards of confidentiality.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a NYS Licensed Mental Health professional (including but not limited to LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.)

  • Additional CASAC strongly preferred

  • Two years employment experience in the human services field, experience providing in-community services preferred.
