Job Description:
Job Title: Plumber Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team on a college campus. The role involves providing maintenance and repair services across approximately 40 buildings on a University campus. The successful candidate will receive service tickets at the start of each day and travel to various locations to perform maintenance tasks. The primary focus will be on fixing appliances in dining halls and common areas, with no requirement for full installations of plumbing or piping. Responsibilities
  • Receive and process service tickets each morning at the Facilities Building.
  • Travel to various buildings on campus to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Fix small kitchen appliances in dormitory common areas.
  • Repair and maintain commercial kitchen appliances such as grease traps, dishwashers, and drink dispensers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on existing appliances.
  • Troubleshoot and repair water heaters, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Essential Skills
  • P1/P2 License.
  • General plumbing experience.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance work.
  • Ability to perform repair tasks rather than full installations.
  • Skilled in repairing pipes and troubleshooting water heaters.
Work Environment This position is based on a University campus, requiring travel between buildings. Most work will be performed indoors, ensuring a comfortable working environment.
