Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities
- Make rounds to observeresidents and nursing care
- Review and integratethe Nursing Care Plan to reflect physical emotional, restorative,rehabilitative, teaching, and goals with the medical care prescribed
- Provide propertranscription and execution of physical orders
- Utilize thecapabilities of staff members to provide quality resident care
- Order medication andsupplies for the nursing unit and residents
- Control the countingand recording of medications
- Maintain proper andaccurate documentation and maintenance of clinical records
- Cooperate andcommunicate with inter-departmental and facility personnel to nursing servicesare being adequately maintained
- Meet with othernursing personnel to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/orimprovement of services
- Remain prepared to doany services or assignments within the scope of practice of an LPN
- Provide direct patientcare when needed
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements - Valid NYS LPN license
- Exceptional communication, customer service, andinterpersonal skills
- COVID-19 Vaccination
Preferred - Previous experience inlong-term care
- Previous experiencewith Point Click Care
