Education: Completion of educational program for licensure as a LPN
Licenses & Certification: LPN, BLS
Skills:
1. Delivers nursing care in structured & routine situations free of scientific complexity.
2. Assistance with activities of daily living.
3. Administration of treatments and routine tasks such as suctioning and urinary catheterizations.
4. Preparation of patient for surgery, diagnostic tests, treatments, examinations.
5. Administration of medications within scope of practice.
Duties:
Performing tasks responsibilities within the scope of supportive & restorative care; medication administration and specialized tasks under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse of licensed or otherwise legally authorized physician or dentist.
