OverviewLicensed Practical Nurse, SRTStaffing Resource Team - System Staffing OfficeFull-time, Monday - Friday Days$5.00 shift differential for Staffing Resource TeamThe Staffing Resource Team (SRT) is comprised of part time or full time staff that float through the Dartmouth Hitchcockambulatory departments,located at DHMC based on our current staffing needs. They provide critical support to departments with current staffing needsResponsibilitiesUtilizes the nursing process - assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to facilitate continuing health care to individuals, families, and community.Identifies common and recurring nursing needs of the patient.Recognizes the need for and performs routine office procedures and testing.Assists patients to achieve basic health care goals.Identifies patient education needs, providing instruction or referring appropriately.Assists staff in institutional quality improvement measures and office standards of practice.Provides telephone advice to patients per physician specific protocols; refers patients appropriately.Participates in staff meetings.Performs other duties as required or assigned.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.Required Licensure/CertificationsLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of NH required.Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required.Area of Interest:Nursing;FTE/Hours per pay period:1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week;Shift:Day;Job ID:24252;Dartmouth Health is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
