As an LPN you will play a crucial role in assisting primary care providers, including physicians and mid-level providers, in delivering top-notch patient care. Your responsibilities will include providing general nursing care, assisting with triage, offering patient services, and providing clinical support. This is a Per Diem position requiring a flexible schedule of at least 10-20 hours per week. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your responsibilities will include: Assist primary care providers in delivering patient care services. Provide general nursing care under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Assist with triage procedures and patient assessments. Offer patient services with empathy and professionalism. Provide clinical support in various healthcare settings. Always ensure confidentiality of patient information. Collaborate effectively with other members of the Nursing team. Qualifications New York State LPN License Current CPR certification Strong Computer Competency Two years experience in an out-patient clinical setting preferred Experience serving Callen-Lorde's target populations preferred Desired Characteristics, Skills Commitment to the mission of Callen-Lorde Ability to work effectively with diverse populations Commitment to community-based primary care Commitment to participating and being a champion of Callen-Lorde's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative Ability to work within a team-based structure Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
