Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurses

Location: Rochester, New York, 14617

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: 12hr (Available Shifts: Day, Night & Rotational - All 3 available)

Note:

Expected to work every other weekend.

Candidate MUST be able to take own assignment!

This is NOT an LTC unit; minimum of 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience is required.

This is a great opportunity for LPNs who are in process of becoming RN.

AHA BLS required at the time of submission.

The facility will accept local candidates for LPN jobs.

Float required - If floating to ICU or ER it would be to care for M/S level patients or be helping hands.

Facility can call off up to 3 shifts for 13-week contract and 2 shifts less than 13-week contract.

Licensed Practical Nurse duties and responsibilities:

• Assessing patients to monitor their progress, watching for any problems, and reporting them to the RN in charge
• Documenting their findings in the medical records
• Taking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, respirations, and pulse)
• Changing wound dressings
• Giving medications
• Help patients with activities of daily living, such as feeding, dressing, and mobility.
