Silver Linings Neurodevelopment (SLN) is a clinic in Huntsville, AL dedicated to evaluating and treating behavioral, emotional, and neurodevelopmental differences in children and adults. Services for all ages within our clinic include psychological evaluation, counseling, speech therapy, occupational therapy, behavioral therapy, and social skills groups.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Professional Counselor at Silver Linings Neurodevelopment, but part time options are available, along with utilization of telehealth and in-person visits. The counselor will conduct psychotherapy or behavioral support to clients. Options for pediatric and/or adult services are available. An ideal candidate will be open toward working with adults and/or children with various aspects of neurodivergence, including Autism. To this end, training and support are available. Case load will vary based on desire of the clinician.

Pay

Options for independent contracting or commission-based employment are available. Benefits include options for health insurance, dental, vision, and short/long term disability packages.

Qualifications

• Experience in provision of psychotherapy
• Ability to work with clients presenting with behavioral and neurodevelopmental differences
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Master's degree in Counseling or related field
• Licensure as a Professional Counselor in Alabama; ALC licensure will be considered
• Experience in parent training approaches, such as PCIT or TBRI is a plus, but training can also be provided.
• Experience or training in play therapy is a plus, but training can also be provided.
