Overview:

Licensed Social Workers assist patients and families who have issues caused by neglect, abuse, domestic violence, mental health, parental substance abuse, etc. Clinical social workers diagnose and treat mental, behavioral, and emotional issues. They provide clinical services, such as therapy or counseling, and connect people to resources in the community. They can bridge cultural and linguistic barriers, expand access to coverage and care, and improve health outcomes. Social workers also maintain accurate records and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• LCSW required
• 2 years minimum acute care experience preferred
• Bilingual highly desired
• Must be flexible to cross train and cross cover based on the needs of the department. May be assigned to participate in group and individual sessions with patients and families as needed/appropriate.

Schedule

• All positions are in hospitals and nursing homes. These facilities are open 24 hours/7 days each week.
• General shift availability:
  • Days (7a-3p or 8a-4p)
  • Evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a)
  • Nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a)
• Every other weekend is usually required for all positions.

COVID-19 vaccination is required.
