Job Description:
Licensed Therapists or Associate Therapist opportunity. (please note: Licensed Therapists, LMFT, LCSW or LPCC, will also be considered. The list of essential functions and requirements reflect that of Associate Therapists) Sierra Health and Wellness uses evidence-based methods to accomplish the restoration of families, relationships, and self-worth. By transforming the character, we give life back to the people who have lost it through substance abuse and mental health issues. Our Primary Mental Health Inpatient facility houses 6 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. This new facility is located in scenic Bangor, 15 minutes outside of Oroville. Positions Available:
  • full time- 1 position as either an Associate Therapist or Licensed Therapist
For Full-Time ACSW, AMFT or APCC we offer:
  • 2 units of supervision toward licensure,
  • Associates are able to claim their full 32-40 hour workweek toward their licensure

Essential Functions as an Associate Therapist:
  • Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
  • Assesses and monitors clients' behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
  • Works as a team member with other professionals
  • Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
  • Conducts individual, family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives
  • Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
  • Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
  • Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
  • Operates a personal computer and other office equipment
  • Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
  • Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
  • Perform job duties under stressful conditions
  • May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities
Education and minimum qualification:
  • Must possess a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling
  • Must obtain an associate registration number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License
  • Two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling (preferred, not required)

Salary: Associate Therapist: $74,089.60 - $110,073.60 (This salary range is for 40 hours per week) Licensed Therapist: $92,081.60 - $137,072 (This salary range is for 40 hours per week) The posted pay range is a reasonable estimate that the organization believes in good faith it may pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting. This pay range is not a promise of a particular wage. Pay may consider several factors including but not limited to internal equity, experience, specialty, training, hours/shifts worked, business need, and education. Pay ranges may be adjusted in the future depending upon many factors including business needs.
