Outdoor Cap Company is looking for a Licensing Coordinator who acts as the company's liaison between Product Development, Design, Marketing and our license partners. Primary responsibilities will include documenting, communicating and ensuring licensor compliance in a professional and clear manner. Documentation must be maintained so that it is readily available for review and consultation with internal stakeholders throughout various approval processes. The licensing Coordinator supports company initiatives and corporate objectives through effective storing and communication of licensor compliance requirements, change requests, and approvals for Outdoor Cap and JUNK Brands. The perfect candidate is detail oriented, organized, and able to juggle many on-going project communications between product, marketing, sales, and external licensing teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates day-to-day licensor-licensee communications related to approvals and revisions for products and advertising.
- Monitors license request queues for new requests and engages licensors with product and design approval requests in a timely manner that achieves business objectives.
- Accurately document and submit product and marketing assets to all license partners across Outdoor Cap and JUNK Brands.
- Documents and maintains Licensing procedures and guidelines that will enhance the communication channels between internal Outdoor Cap Company, Inc.'s business unit directors and supporting departments.
- Responsible for coordinating and maintaining licensed properties for Outdoor Cap Company assuring proper approvals are obtained from Licensors for all aspects of product.
- Assists in preparing licensing proposals as well as business plan presentations necessary for the successful negotiation of licensing agreements.
- Works with BI and analysts to prepare license reports by license and in aggregate to ensure we are hitting or beating minimums and achieving our license partner goals.
- Assists with product line reviews from a license perspective.
- Responsible for maintaining updated licensor database with key contacts records and last actions.

- Proficiency in Office365 product suite

Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in a related field; or 2-5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical/Mental Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated) 80% of the day and occasionally reach, bend and move inside the office to access files and product.
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks, expansive reading, visual inspection of product including and may include measuring.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with internal and external customers and must be able to exchange accurate information in a clear, professional manner.
- Ability to move 10-20 lbs. occasionally throughout day.
