The Licensing Specialist will primarily be responsible for ensuring proper licensing and regulatory compliance for outside partnerships of the domestic property and casualty business.
Essential Job Functions
· Review and analyze onboarding materials of prospective external business partners.
· Liaise with outside business contacts and insurance regulators.
· Coordinate timely curing of internal and external licensing and regulatory deficiencies.
· Manage internal and external audit materials.
· Understand and implement processes prescribed by various insurance regulators.
· Field licensing inquiries related to business entities and individuals.
· Gather licensing and compliance information through research.
· Complete special projects and assignments as needed.
· Handle multiple, competing priorities.
· Build strong relationships with co-workers on the team.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree.
· 1-2 years of related law firm or in-house experience.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
· Strong organizational and writing skills.
· Performance of tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Ability to follow established workflows and guidelines.
· Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
Preferred
· Paralegal certification.
· Insurance industry experience.
· Property & casualty licensing experience in multiple states and/or jurisdictions.
· Warranty experience.
