What you'll do Viasat, Inc. seeks a licensing specialist to join its government and regulatory affairs group. This successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining Viasat's increasingly diverse global license portfolio. The day-to-day More specifically, the successful candidate will be able to: Collaborate with internal collaborators to maintain a comprehensive licensing database and improve its capabilities to meet changing business requirements. Track the status of existing licenses and pending applications, and ensure updates are timely and appropriately collected in the licensing database. Develop and maintain template application materials and licensing precedent, and support the preparation and submission of application materials and related filings. Coordinate with internal partners to track compliance deadlines, prepare required reports, and satisfy other relevant requirements promptly. Assist in the evaluation of national licensing requirements in light of Viasat's planned network operations and other business activities. Work closely with other teams within the company (business, technical, legal, accounting, etc.) to obtain vital factual inputs and facilitate appropriate internal review of planned regulatory submissions. What you'll need Four years of experience in the field of government and regulatory affairs and with telecommunications-related licensing matters. Willingness and ability to operate in a team environment. Ability to communicate fully, clearly, and effectively, both orally and in writing, with leadership and teammates. Excellent administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, together with the ability to manage simultaneous projects. Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment. Ability to consistently meet deadlines. Ability to travel up to 20%. This is a US remote role.
