Lifeguard Training Certificate from Red Cross or comparable. Standard First Aid Certificate from the American Red Cross or comparable. Cardio-Pulmonary Certificate from American Red Cross or comparable. Work with the health and physical education department, swim teams, South Jersey Swim League, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, American Red Cross, and other outside organizations to ensure safety, uniformity, revenue building, and to protect assets.REPORTS TO: Director of Athletics and Student ActivitiesPERFORMANCERESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Cooperate with the athletic director and be responsible for pool facility all hours when it is utilized, following state and board policies on pool and water maintenance standards. 2. Coordinate all pool health codes, safety, and maintenance requests. 3. Coordinate all health and physical education class usage of the pool. 4. Coordinate and supervise all Olympic Conference and/or South Jersey Swim League meets. 5. Coordinate, supervise and assist all outside group usage. 6. Coordinate all certifications for coaches and lifeguards. 7. Establish rules and regulations with lifeguards as per pool procedures. 8. Coordinate and conduct lifeguard training. 9.
