Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.Pay Range: $17 - $19 BOEKey Responsibilities of the Lifeguard:* Opening and closing the pool each day according to scheduled hours* Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout shift* Directing swimmers out of water in dangerous conditions* Closely monitoring weather reports to make sure guests remain safe* Overseeing pool parties* Providing swim lessons and coaching swim team when applicable* Maintaining a clean pool environment* Provide the highest level customer service to our passholders and their guestsCurrent Certifications required - Minimum 2 yrs lifeguard experience in active pool situation.Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification,Valid American Red Cross CPR/AED for Pro Rescuer certificate.Westchester County DOH requires annual certification for CPR/AED for Pro RescuersLifeguards and other pool staff are prohibited from carrying CELL PHONES while on duty.More information will be provided at interviews.
