Weekend, holiday, early morning and/or late evening hours are required.The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall safety of all patrons in the pool area. Job responsibilities include:* Arriving promptly each day for scheduled shift* Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout shift* Directing swimmers out of water in dangerous conditions* Maintaining a clean pool environment* Enforcing rules to ensure all patrons are safe* Act as a first responder in the events of an emergency in the poolQualificationsRequired Qualifications* Current Lifeguard certification* CPR and First Aid certifications* Successful completion of a pre-employment in-water practical skills testPreferred Qualifications* One or more years of lifeguard experienceCompensation Special Instructions to ApplicantsTo complete your on-line application, you will be required to attach your resume, cover letter, and contact information for 3 professional references.
