From enforcing pool rules to being the superhero in emergency situations, you'll be the one with the floaties and a heart full of courage. 1. Determines, enforces and prevents rule violations in and around the pool or pertaining to the facility. 2. Identifies and responds to emergency situations and administer care. 3. Performs general maintenance in and around the pool. 4. Responsible for collection of fees and promoting public relations with pool users. 5. Attends all weekly in-services as directed by the department. 6. Ensures the safety of aquatic patrons. 7. Performs related duties as directed when such duties are a logical and appropriate assignment to the position. 8. Regular and timely attendance are required for this position. 9. - Minimum age 15
- Strong swimmer? Check!
- Ability to brave the elements including high heat and humidity, for multiple hours with few breaks.
- No lifeguarding experience needed
- Must obtain the initial American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, AED, and First Aid certification before performing lifeguard duties
- All certification trainings are offered through the City of Grapevine
- Recertification can be obtained after being hired
- Certifications must be maintained during employment
