Acadiana Lifestyle/The Daily Iberian is seeking a full-time Lifestyle Reporter to join our team and cover stories from across the vibrant Acadiana region. If you have a keen eye for captivating narratives, an innate ability to identify compelling local stories, and a passion for showcasing the unique culture of South Louisiana, we want you!

As a Lifestyle Reporter, you will be responsible for generating engaging content that highlights the people, places, and events that define our community. You will dig deep to uncover profiles, trends, and stories that keep our readers coming back for more.

Responsibilities:

• Write and produce news and feature articles focused on lifestyle topics in South Louisiana.
• Collaborate with staff to find and develop sources for diverse stories.
• Maintain a steady flow of fresh, accurate, and engaging content that resonates with our readers.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A degree from a four-year college or university.
• Experience writing in AP Style.
• Proficiency in WordPress or similar content management systems (CMS), and Adobe Suite.
• The ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
