Line AssociateThe Line Associate is responsible for taking direction from the supervisor in order to meet production demands while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.Location city, state: Hicksville, NYHours: 6: 00 am to 3: 30pm, Shift schedules could include days, nights, weekends, some holidays, hours subject to business needsWage: $22.43Land O'Lakes, Inc offers a competitive salary and bonus potential. The company also provides a part time benefits package as well as other company sponsored benefits.Required Qualifications & Experiences:Internal: Must be in position for a minimum of six months18 years or olderHigh School Diploma or GED6 months of manufacturing experienceAbility to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills.Basic computer skills.Preferred Qualifications & Experiences:1 years of continuous prior experience in any industry.Self-Reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision.Maintain a safe and clean work area, during and after shift is completed.Moving materials from the inventory thru the DSI.Moving packaging materials into production areas according to Production schedule.Return unused materials to warehouse once production is complete.Know how to Operate the palletizer.Remove cooled product from coolers when product temperature is within specifications and stage on the WIP area.Must adhere to all productivity requirements established for the position and/or department.Will help at other functions and area deemed necessary for floor supervisors and production management.Cover for the leader person, when needed.Forklift operationFollow Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.Other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements.Able to lift up to 50 pounds.Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment.Able to work in noisy environments.Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present.About Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
