Myles on Main, a new restaurant coming soon to the Preston House in Riverhead hiring Line Cooks for an immediate start! We know Line Cooks are an important part of the restaurant's team and success! We are looking for cooks who work well within a team environment and can excel in their particular task on the team. Experience is preferred but training will be provided to those with the enthusiasm for work and food! Qualifications include: Provide our guests with the best dining experience possible. Uphold service preparation and restaurant standards to ensure a memorable guest experience. Prepare kitchen for daily service and take part in pre-service duties. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Keep all areas clean and organized. Handle all equipment and knives with care and caution. Accurately handling food items to minimize waste. Assist fellow team members as situations arise to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations. Perform applicable closing duties such as the breakdown and cleaning of stations. 1 year restaurant experience preferred, but not required. Benefits may be provided for those who meet eligibility.
