Job Summary: Personal Touch Food Service is seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Evening and weekend availability is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating supplies.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
• Monitor food stock and report any shortages or issues to the Head Chef.
• Follow all restaurant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
• Participate in regular kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Assist in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to food quality and presentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts and some weekends.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
