Radisson Portland Hotel is hiring for a Line CookWe are here to help develop an ALLSTAR team! The ideal candidate is detail-orientated who can help us take it to the next level. A Line Cook will assist in preparing the food items and help ensure supplies at all stations of the kitchen. A great team player!Essential DutiesPrepare a variety of food items using various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.Consistently adhere to standardized portion sizes, quality standards, kitchen guidelines, and standard operating procedures.Set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality standards for are met.Ensure food items are prepared following proper timing standards.Follow proper plate presentation and garnishment standards for all dishes.Maintain a clean and sanitary work station, reach-in cooler, and walk-in cooler.QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
