Prepare mealsaccording to recipes and procedures in a timely manner and lead other cooks in absence of Restaurant Manager or AssistantManager.2. Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area adhering toregulations, maintainproper food storage, receiving, rotating and stocking as par levels dictate.3. Train other back of the house staff and answer questions about cookingmethods, menu items andspecials.4. Ensure proper clean-up of kitchen at the end of the shift. Ability to meet all health department standardsfor safe food handling.OTHER JOBFUNCTIONS: 5. Purchase various food products. 6. Clean dining and food service area and equipment. 7. Perform janitorial duties inside and outside therestaurant as needed or directed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

QualifyingEducation and Experience
- High school education or the equivalencywith three to six months experience in one of the following: restaurant linecook, banquet kitchen preparation,or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain a food handlerspermit within one month of employment is required, possession of food handlerpermit preferred.
