Line Cooks
: Job Details :

Our client a well-known consumer goods company is expanding into the Food and Beverage operations industry. They opened up a cafe in SoHo and are looking for their next Line Cooks to join their growing team. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; our client cannot provide sponsorship at this time.

• Schedule: Must be open to work weekends and week days
• Hours: Must be available for AM and PM shifts between 7AM-5:30PM - Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all food & beverage prep prior to opening
• Partner with management on seasonal menu roll outs that are prep base
• Properly prepare all food items using company measurements to ensure consistency
• Maintain cleanliness and DOH standards at all times
• Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume
• Greet and engage guests when necessary
• Perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of related experience
• Strong ability to multi-task
• Excellent brand knowledge
• Energetic and passionate about the company brand
• Must possess a strong work ethic and be an enthusiastic and proactive team player
• Ability to perform under pressure without constant supervision
• Ability to anticipate needs based on environmental and guest cues
• Ability to work a variety of stations
• Must be able to lift up to 20lbs
• Excellent communication skills
