Role description:
The Line Monitor visually examines and inspects in-process and packed ware. The Line Monitor performs physical tests and detailed visual and specification inspections including spot checks using the established sampling plan.
Compensation and Schedule:
$23.39 Hourly Rate
Rotating swing shift schedule - first, second and third shifts
Responsibilities:
* Visually inspect and record packed ware using established sampling plan and report as necessary
* Check and record annealing, finish coating, and cold end spray
* Conduct internal pressure test and thermal shock
* Monitor and react to machine losses
* Record discarded mold numbers and re-check discarded mold numbers
* Reselect held ware, hand packs, hand stacks, etc. as required
* Follow all food safety rules and regulations
Minimum skills / qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Must be able to physically perform all related tasks associated with the position
* Must be able to stand for 8 hours
* Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds
Preferred skills / qualifications:
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
