Summary:
To remove finished product from the machines, inspect product to ensure quality specifications have been met and that all packaging requirements have been done according to production work order.

Responsibilities:
* Perform instructions outlined in the Production Manuals for Production Assistants
* Operate pallet jacks and fork trucks
* Assist operators as needed to minimize downtime during cleanups and maintenance
* Weigh and package rolls according to specifications and instructions provided on work order paperwork
* Thread Line
* Use and complete paperwork
* Understand and follow quality specifications
* Do Q.A. clean-up
* Perform housekeeping duties on and around the line
* Maintain neat and clear aisles for product transfer and safety
* Adherence to company policies and procedures

Qualifications
Requirements:
* Must know how to read and use a tape measure and weigh scale
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., if over 50 lbs. requires a team lift or mechanical aid such as a roll lift or forklift
* Must be able to stand for 12 hours
* Must be able to work rotating 12 hour shift including holidays and weekends
* Must be able to bend, twist, and rotate body at all times
* Able to work in a fast paced environment
Physical Requirements:
* The employee in this job is required to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally (less than 1/3 of time); and up to 35 pounds of force frequently (more than 1/3 of the total time); if over 50 lbs, requires a team lift or mechanical aid such as a roll lift or forklift.
* Must be able to stand for 12 hours
* Must be able to work rotating 12 hour shift including holidays and weekends
* Must be able to bend, twist, and rotate body at all times
* Reaching with hands and arms for as much as 100% of workday
