Underthe general supervision of the Production Manager, this individual must be able to remain fullyattentive of their work surroundings while working at a steady pace on a continually movingproduction line. They must be able to multitask and learn different work assignments.Individuals must be able to adapt to various work assignments; must keep their work areaclean and follow all safety and Good Manufacturing guidelines. In addition, individuals mustwork well with others in a supportive team environment in order to meet production qualityand quantity standards, while reducing waste and rework and minimizing downtime.Responsibilities:•Responsible for line set-up, product changeovers, package size changes and minorrepairs and adjustments on line equipment.•Operate processing, filling and packaging production line equipment.•Performing quality inspections of products and packs, including but not limited to,visual checks of raw material, raw material consumption, caps, labels, date codes,weights, packaging and seals.•Monitor work activities of line team to insure the effective operation of the productionline to meet production needs, quality standards and help minimize downtime andpractice waste control.•Process required inventory control transactions using SAP and accurately complete allnecessary paperwork.•Perform allergen clean up and daily housekeeping duties in the work area.•Assist in training employees on the operation of the line's equipment and Companyprocesses.Required Qualifications:•Must have 1-2 years of experience in food manufacturing industry with a strongbackground in leadership role, operating manufacturing equipment, sanitation, and/orQA.or related technical Associate's degree.•Must possess proven mechanical ability.•Must have the ability to read, write and perform simple math calculations.•Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.•Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds on a continual basis and 25-50 pounds on afrequent basis.•Must be able to work in a work environment with fumes or airborne particles andmachinery with moving mechanical parts.•Must be able to work overtime on a frequent basis and on weekends as required byscheduling/production demands.Preferred Qualification•One year Industrial Manufacturing experience or Related Technical Associates DegreeJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:•401(k)•401(k) matching•Dental insurance•Employee assistance program•Flexible spending account•Health insurance•Health savings account•Life insurance•Paid time off•Parental leave•Referral program•Retirement plan•Vision insuranceSchedule:•8 hour shift•Day shift•Monday to Friday•Night shift•Overtime•Weekend availabilityExperience:•Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)McCormick and Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
