JOB TITLE: Stock linen and amenitiesDEPARTMENT: Hotel REPORTS TO: Housekeeping ManagerWORK DAYS/HOURS: 8:00am to 4:30pm must work weekends and holidaysGENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:To ensure the housekeepers have what they need in order to do an effective job, in a timely manner.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Stocking closets on all the floors.Distribute linens and product.Take out garbage. Remove dirty linens from the shoots.Cleaning stairwells.Shampoo carpets as neededPERFORMANCE SKILLS: Must be able to do the following repetitive duties:*be able to bend down from the waist*twist upper body from side to side*Reach arms above your head *lift and/or carry at least 50 lbs. *work from a stooping or kneeling position*must be able to work around/with cleaning chemicalsMust be able to work with a routine and stick to it;Must be able to work independently; stocking the closets. Must be able to be on feet all dayMust be able to walk long distancesTrained employees will be expected to remove dirty linens, stock clean linens, and products on all the floors, in all the buildings on a daily basis.RequirementsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
