The accurate and timely restocking of assigned areas, also the collection of soiled linen and equipment. Maintains an orderly work environment . Accurate recording of completed duties and communication of problems to managementResponsibilities:
- Restocks assigned area with supplies accurately and timely
- Inspects linen and prepares packs and/or carts for delivery
- Maintains clean and orderly work environment in the department and customer site.
- Restocks assigned areas accurately and timely
- Communicates delivery to customer
- Documents delivery
- Communicates inability to deliver to customer and immediate supervisor
- Retrieves soiled linen from assigned areas, weighs and properly stage for pick-up
- Acknowledges linen request via walkie-talkie, telephone or in person
- Turns in completed scripts at the end of the shift
- Assists with all physical inventories
- Breakdown full pallets of supply, bring linen to work area, assemble linen packs and carts, deliver linen packs and/or patient linen to assigned areas.
- Return excess supply and equipment to designated areas.
Education or Equivalent Experience:Required:High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations.
