We specialize in the Solid Waste, Power, and Industrial markets. Our job sites are nationwide, primarily on the East Coast. Our ideal candidate will travel and install liner. We have a significant backlog of work and do not limit overtime hours.WORK LOCATION: Traveling nationwide, primarily the East Coast.RESPONSIBLITIES
- Leistering, grinding, and testing samples using tensiometer.
- Welding using an extrusion gun and a wedge/fusion welder.
- Filling and moving sandbags.
- Cleaning and maintaining the work area, including picking up trash.
- Deploying liner by placing geosynthetic materials on the ground using clamps, to pull the liner into place.
- Assisting others with welding and other liner duties.
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior liner technician experience is required.
- Must pass a welding proctor exam consisting of 5 peels and 5 shears using two different types of polyethylene geomembrane.
- CWT/IAGI Certification is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel and be away from home.
- Ability to walk 5+ miles per day, frequently up and down steep slopes.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently, throughout an entire workday.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, hot and cold.
- Ability to pass a background check and regular drug tests.
- Ability to maintain safety standards.
