EverWatch is seeking a Linux System Administrator to perform sustainment activities across multiple remote locations for Air Force Distributed Common Ground Station – National Mission Partner (AF DCGS-NMP) systems. This position is open to candidates willing to work with a well-established and evolving team. The ideal candidate will provide system administration support to Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) mission systems and workstations; actively monitor and troubleshoot system issues; participate in response to and resolution of trouble tickets; and update and patch systems. The SA will work with the System Sustainment team to ensure continuous operations for mission users through implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of systems, workstations, and associated infrastructure.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in Linux system administration and engineering, with a deep understanding of Linux operating systems, including CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu
  • Experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining workstations in a Linux environment
  • Experience with automation tools, including Ansible for configuration management and deployment
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining system integrity along with implementing operating system updates and vulnerability patches to improve reliability and performance
  • Experience with Jira or Serena for project tracking, issue resolution, and change management
  • Ability to adapt solutions to meet evolving or new requirements.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • DoD 8570-Compliant IAT Level II or III Certification, such as Security+ Certification
