POSITION

This professional will work closely with the Head of Global Liquidity, Distribution Enablement, Portfolio Management, Product and Marketing teams, and broader partnership functions, to bring the full capabilities of the firm's liquidity capabilities to clients and prospects in a thoughtful, engaging, differentiated and effective manner.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and implementing the liquidity/short-duration distribution and service strategy within the Eastern Region with both clients and prospects.
  • Developing well-rounded connections across organizations to grasp the multidisciplinary needs of clients and prospects, involving different pools of investable assets and their distinct goals.
  • Securing new business from institutional investors in the East Region by turning high-profile liquidity prospects into clients.
  • Encouraging existing client relationships within the Eastern Region to establish, grow, and retain liquidity client relationships.
  • Collaborating and partnering seamlessly with regional counterparts and internal collaborators to develop outstanding client engagements and results across regions.
  • Maintaining a culture of frequent and direct dialogue with clients and prospects, while understanding their needs, and delivering solutions.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, competitors' activities, and market dynamics within the liquidity marketplace.
  • Understanding and staying current with Allspring's broader business strategy to drive firm-wide initiatives.
  • Strengthening the region's Allspring presence through marketing initiatives and client-focused events, such as symposiums and seminars, to improve and reinforce our brand as a complete, independent, outstanding partner to our clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years of investment sales experience, including 10+ years with large market institutional liquidity relationships.
  • Deep book of contacts within the Eastern region of the liquidity/short-duration market.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive knowledge of the asset management industry, trends, as well as a broad range of complex investment products and solutions.
  • Strong, demonstrated sales and client relationship management skills.
  • Track record of intellectual curiosity.
  • CFA or MBA or equivalent experience.

ADDITIONAL JOB EXPECTATIONS

  • Ability to travel up to 65% of the time.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 or 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. Acquiring and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position.
  • In addition, state registration, specific product licenses, or SAFE licensing may apply.
