Liquids ManEx Lead, reporting to our Head NOAM PTManEx Liquids & Powders, you will be a process expert in the scoped process area(s) and represent the production sites of your region in the Global Manufacturing Excellence network for the corresponding manufacturing processes.
This position could be located in Cincinnati, OH, or East Hanover, NJ with the ability to travel 25%In this exciting role, you will be responsible to: - Lead the standardization and improvement of our manufacturing processes of in-scope technology(ies)
- Challenge the AS IS situation constructively
- Define and validate global standards together with your peers from the other regions, considering existing Givaudan best practices or visions for it
- Run gap analysis in the region and identify corresponding opportunities and audit sites against global GPS standards
- Promote corrective actions in the region to close gaps, which represent deviations from the Givaudan Production System (GPS)
- Assist the sites in prioritizing corrective actions
- Coordinate pilot activities of visions for global standards; Givaudan does not yet have best practices for and arrange the roll out of newly defined global standards to the non-pilot sites
- Review/validate/define process requirements supporting conceptual studies and capital projects
- Promote collaboration with Regional PT Manager and with Manufacturing RPC to enhance systems and product design rules and guidelines
- Create agreement on Manex and managers for supporting disciplines (Warehouse, QC) where cross-functional improvement required
Scope & Organizational detail - Regional, Operations, and manufacturing of scoped Technology(ies); Focus areas are quality and productivity while sustaining EHS
- 25% travel is expected

- Site Directors, Production managers, CI Managers, PT/Manex teams for in-scope sites
Required Qualifications: - University degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Overall work experience of 4+ years
- 1+ year of experience in a Lean, engineering, or PT/Manex role
- 1 to 2 years of experience in people management.
- Training experience with operators, shift leaders and departmental managers
- LEAN certification.
- Project management certification
- Cross functional experience in the Givaudan environment
- Business fluent English
- Project management skills
- Demonstrated skill in:
- Stakeholder management and communications
- Process mapping and design and value chain diagnostic tools
- Apply EHS and Food Safety rules and guidelines
