Works in cooperation with the individual school division staff to develop and implement a comprehensive school plan for literacy instruction. Provides leadership and guidance to the school staff in matters related to reading instruction to include conducting professional development and implementing division initiatives. Serves as a model for instructional and professional excellence. Meets with and works with the division level Title I Literacy Coach to prepare for training to be delivered to teachers, leads PALS building level training and oversees PALS assessments. Oversees the Title I budget with direction/guidance from the Principal/Building Administrator.
