This position is designed for an experienced educator dedicated to guiding teachers in implementing structured literacy, understanding the new Georgia ELA standards, and analyzing literacy data to make data-based decisions. The candidate should have a deep understanding of the structured literacy approach to teaching reading. They should have experience in explicit and systematic teaching of all essential literacy components, including foundational skills such as decoding and spelling, as well as higher-level literacy skills such as morphology and written expression.
