About the Role:

Are you an attorney who enjoys the sophisticated work and high caliber colleagues and clients of the Elite firms, but feels like a small cog in a massive machine? Do you feel your chances of progression are more linked to who you know than the caliber of your work?

Working directly alongside a newly-lateralled Partner, you will work with them to grow the Litigation practice across NY & California, deputizing for them where appropriate, running client relationships and helping to win new business.

Sophisticated work, lots of responsibility and client contact, and the opportunity to help shape the practice are just a few of the real plus points, along with a genuinely meritocratic environment and a human (sensible) approach to work / life balance.

Experience:

• 3-4 yrs broad Complex Commercial Litigation experience is ideal, although they are happy to accommodate attorneys with a most specialist leaning. It is essential that you have taken depositions and managed clients independently
• You will have excellent academics and the desire to do superb and interesting work, and be well-versed in the full gamut of Litigation. You are likely to be working within one of the New York elite firms, but with a thirst to break free from the shackles and take control of your own development.
• Law firm experience is essential to be considered.
