Our pretrial, discovery, trial, and appellate efforts are designed to solve clients' problems through a collaborative, results-driven approach.ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a practice group associate with 2+ years of experience to join our litigation team in New York. Candidates should have an interest in working on insurance and reinsurance disputes and developing pretrial and trial practice. Responsibilities include:Drafting complex submissionsPreparation of witnessesExpert discoveryTrial practiceMany of these disputes are tried in an arbitral setting. Candidates must be comfortable growing into a role where they will be given significant responsibility. Please note this is an off-track position.QualificationsGraduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law schoolAdmitted or eligible for admission in New YorkExperience in complex litigation matters and an interest in arbitration trial practiceInsurance/reinsurance background is preferred but not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessionalism in working and engaging with demanding clientsAbility to balance and prioritize competing priorities and responsibilitiesAbility to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detailAbility to collaborate and work effectively in team settingsAbout UsWe are an Am Law 100 law firm with over 500 attorneys serving clients worldwide.
